Services

  • 24-hour Hotline 1-800-698-1240. We provide information and crisis intervention, including assisting clients in access to immediate safety services such as emergency shelter, medical care, and law enforcement.
  • Emergency Shelter. We provide clients fleeing domestic or sexual violence with safe housing in the form of shelter. We can also assist with transportation from the shelter location to appointments and meetings in other counties.
  • Crisis Intervention. We assist clients in crisis through emergency counseling and safety planning, or by making immediate contact with other emergency services such as medical care, law enforcement, and shelter.
  • Referrals & Information. We can help clients determine which services they need to access and connect clients with other agencies for help with financial assistance, housing, job training, legal assistance, and other services.
  • Support Group. We provide a domestic and sexual violence support group, and additional support groups as needed. Childcare or children’s groups may be available during support groups.
  • Legal Advocacy. We provide legal advocacy through referrals to legal aid, attending DVPO hearings (Domestic Violence Protective Order), EPO hearings (Emergency Protective Order), and divorce hearings with clients at request, and other informational services.
  • Crime Victim Compensation Fund. We assist with gathering information and filing compensation applications. Please note this process requires reporting to law enforcement and cooperation with investigations.
  • Counseling. We provide peer-to-peer counseling and referrals to mental health professionals and therapies with area agencies.
  • Medical Advocacy. We provide medical accompaniment to doctor’s appointments and forensic exams
  • Case Management. We create and assist with long-term case plans to help clients address barriers to obtaining and maintaining independence.
  • Transportation. We can provide transportation to shelter clients when needed. All travel must be approved in advance, unless it is emergency transportation.
